Marcin found a very good map in English and at the bus station are the schedule in English, take a picture with your pad or cell. That helps. 1.) When you have enough money, you can take a taxi.       ... in my trip, not 7 months into it. On a happier note we spent the last 2 days exploring two islands, Ishigakj and Taketomi. Ishigaki had some breathtaking panoramic views, while Taketomi had an incredible historic charm and ambience. The "village" in the middle of the Taketomi island hosts visitors on a water buffalo carriage and took us around their cute village. The island has a whopping population of 340!       Taketomi town covers seven islands of the Yaeyama Islands; its town hall is located in Ishigaki City. Strange as it may sound, but considering the islanders' convenience, that is very reasonable. Incidentally, Yonaguni Island, the westernmost inhabited island of Japan, has their own township.       ... spend an hour or so. Because it was very hard to spot a wild Iriomote cat, the museum was worth visiting to see a stuffed Iriomote cat.       ... didn't look interested in me when I got into the cage, but as soon as I bought food for them, they swarmed around me and took food from my hands in a minute.
