Marcin found a very good map in English and at the bus station are the schedule in English, take a picture with your pad or cell. That helps. 1.) When you have enough money, you can take a taxi. Sorry not for us. 2.) When you have enough time, patience and luck you can try hitchhiking. There is no typical sign you can ...

Ishigaki had some breathtaking panoramic views, while Taketomi had an incredible historic charm and ambience. The "village" in the middle of the Taketomi island hosts visitors on a water buffalo carriage and took us around their cute village. The island has a whopping population of 340! ... Because the number of tourist attractions of the island was limited, it was no wonder. I saw many blue butterflies near the beach even in winter and they made me happy.

After we tasted Yaeyama buckwheat noodle in a restaurant near the rental car shop, we finally took a cruise to the Nakamagawa River. The cruise was supposed to be operated three times a day, but because the number of the visitors to the island was very small on the day, the ferry ran only once on ...

... area was small, but nice for a stroll due to the boardwalks. Then we had late lunch in the park restaurant. I tasted Ishigaki beef curry and sea grapes, which were good. After that, we enjoyed Ya-asobi, or Okinawan leisure activities in a house. My mum hesitate to attend it before we went to the house, but she seemingly enjoyed the activity very much. We bought Chinsuko, a speciality sweets of Okinawa at the souvenir shop and left the theme park.
