    Yesterday we packed up and left Granada to drive to Malaga. We took a detour to a town at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, driving through Lanjaron and Orgiva to get to Pampaneira.     ... me. But two things haunt me when driving through mountains in the rain. One is fear of the wheels slipping on the incredibly steep roads, and the second is the risk of landslides. There are signs aplenty warning of falling rocks and whereas this might not feel too much of a threat to the average person, to me it's a gruesome reminder of being pelted about my head by falling rocks after a landslide while walking in Madeira. Probable death missed me by inches and has left ...
