      So Sunday was our recovery day from the trip. We slept until 12 and slowly got out by 1. We went to the Plaza de la Merced near our apartment and had the most amazing chicken skewers at Las Tortugas Cafe, located right on the Plaza. There were some street performers playing music and the sun was out. A most perfect day. We learned the night before from some locals that appropriate tip here is around 10%, but not required.
