    ... kindly explained, that in Spain, to help the environment, you are supposed to pay for the plastic bags. The lesson we learned today is, buy less stuff or take your plastic bags with you next time.
    Tomorrow we our taking a tour of Malaga with our study abroad group, and on Wednesday, we start school. Not sure when my next post will be, maybe after the first day of school. I miss my bro already, hope he misses me a little.

    It was another beautiful sunny day on the coast of Spain to explore how the "other half" lives. Puerto Banus is the marina southwest of Marbella where the international jet-set come to play. Huge yachts and exotic cars were the norm as we wandered along the marina and imagined what it would be like to sail on boats that are twice the size of our house.     Well we're still here in sunny Spain Steve's visa still not turned up and he's been told now it'll be 4 - 6 months from interview back in may until he see's it. As such we have moved our date as far back as possible for this year taking into account the likelihood of bad weather if we go too late in the year, our new flights are booked for the 27th September so fingers and toes crossed we can go then, if not it's going to have to be next year, trying to stay positive though ...

    ... as opposed to the absolute circus of people that had existed in Malaga. The town immediately felt extremely relaxing and friendly. I was able to locate my hostel pretty quickly, which was only a 5 minute walk from the city center. Another relief: my own bedroom. Fuengirola is a very cheap city, so I was able to get a room all to myself for only about 2 euros more per night than what it cost me to share a 10 bed dorm room in Malaga. The ...
