... the experience - we settled on Croatia.

Even though we found a country "outside" of the Schengen Zone that best suited our needs - I worried. I
    mean, come on it's Croatia!

We researched the country and found the apartment and opted to settle on the Dalmatian Island of Hvar - off the coast of Spilt (mainland). I of course, had never heard of it and had no idea what to expect.

We soon saw a flying 11 to rent out so my mum asked the person how much it was but unfortunately they ...

As predicted the wind freshened as the race progressed. Today we decided to run with a full mainsail after our disappointing performance yesterday with a reefed main. The boat handled the 35 knot winds very well, sometimes reaching 9 knots, almost ******* ...

Its always exciting when you head to a country for the first time and we were both excited about visiting Croatia - in part from what others had said and also from our own investigations.

To get there we took a ferry and this time we booked a suite on the boat which was exciting too.

There was a moment's worry when I saw the ferry as its logo is low cost fares and, indeed, that was the market they were attracting. Still, we had ...
