Although the tyranny of time and distance may strain the bonds of friendship the memories that were shared will last a lifetime.

... and in the warmest water we have had on the trip. We had a picnic lunch and walked the east end of the island, bypassing the nudist beach. We ended at the Dead Sea, an inland pool fed by the sea through underwater conduits and the Benedictine monastery, under renovation. We stopped for a drink at the local cafe before catching the ferry back to the city. Betsy and I walked around for a little souvenir shopping before cleaning up and having our final happy hour on the terrace. ...
