... on the way and slowing heading into towns we must have been doing 200+ kmph.
We arrived in Rome about 1940hrs and caught a cab to our Hotel which was about 1.5km away. A bit of trouble fitting the bike bag in the taxi but nothing a few occy straps couldn't fix! The Hotel seems nice, simple but neat and tidy.
Tomorrow we will hit the streets and look at some of the attractions. Being in the city centre, most of the main sites are within 30min walk.
... called Magic Mountain and it's the best roller coaster I've ever been on (My sister's first roller coaster ride!). I loved the adrenalin rush it came with!
Other cool rides : I Corsari; Ramses; 4D Adventure and a huge merry-go-round.

... of water, warm coke and banans to help get me up. The quads cramped up in the last few km's so I couldn't stand up out of the saddle and then my left hamstring cramped in the last hundred odd meters but other than that it was just a matter of willing myself to keep turning those pedals over and watching the meters tick off.
I finished 77th out of 120 starters in my category so fairly happy considering the course isn't built for a larger guy like myself.
Had a quiet day today. We went for another walk into Peschiera.. Then we went and sat in the sun by the lake. Then after lunch we went and sat by the pool...oh god it's exhausting!! Last day though, tomorrow we start the journey towards home. ...
... to the Swans get done :(. Early on this morning streamed the Sthn Power boys having an easy win in their GF.
The plan was to visit the Caproni Aeronautical Museum in the arvo however it is a difficult place to get to so we settled for panini and a trip on the cable car up to Sardegna which overlooks Trento. Apparently the area was bombed in 1943/44.
Some pasta for dinner, get the gear ready and try to get an good nights sleep...
