... wait and I take the opportunity to see inside San Moise which I have seen from my balcony for the last 2 days. Of course it is very beautiful inside with a large oil painting on the ceiling (unusual).

We take the water taxi back to the San Marco car park, pick up Dusty and set off for Trieste. We have only one night there as it is really just to breakup the long drive to Split. Again I spread myself out on the back seat (as much as the luggage ...

Today we drive to Motovun, a small village in the mountains in the north of Istria. There is a narrow twisty road up to the mountain top village so we parked our car at the bottom and walked up. There were well kept vineyards and gardens, and it was all so green. When we got to the village we found a nice looking restaurant that specialised in truffles, which this part of Croatia is famous for. We all ordered the ...

After a late start we headed off for Croatia. No wind and calm seas but our new recruit Scott was not impressed!! 4 hours later we arrived with a very green passenger who could not get up to face customs! 1 hour later after we had tied up he was back with us eating crisps and swigging schnapps! Great to be back on board and only a few snags with Ellisa on the way down, mainly human error so very ...
