Really slacking on my entries. I feel so tired and exhausted most days and can't work up the willpower! After leaving Zadar, I went onto a town called Motovun for three days. It is a spectacular little place in the upper western part of Croatia, amongst many vineyards on rolling mountains and deep valleys. The best wine you could imagine. Lots of olive trees, very hot, quite lush & green, but then the architecture is more Venetian style and being so close to Italy must have influence. Haven't seen or heard any Brits yet, it's German first then Danish, Austrian & Dutch - some Czech and Solvak. It's very beautiful, the natural surroundings are stunning, as are ...

... had their fair share of practice.

Tuesday morning we woke up and fuelled ourselves with a big breakfast. Whilst cooking breakfast Nath realised it wasn’t going to be so simple getting out of Piran into Pula (Croatia) and we may have to hitch hike! Fortunately, the hostel knew of a car share website and our luck was in. The lift was arranged for 8am Wednesday morning from the next town along, Portorose. We took the coastal path into ...
