Today is my third day in Switzerland. I woke up early this morning, ate breakfast, and took the train to Zurich. My first stop was the Uetliberg Mountains. The mountains are 2.850 feet above sea level. It offers a panoramic view of Zurich, the lake, and Alps. It was a great place to hike and overlook the city!

A much needed post breakfast walk facilitated the reconnoiter of Zurich railway station and the purchase of rail tickets to Constance. A very attractive young Swiss lass suggested we take a ferry trip around the upper lake which we duly undertook. The wholly reasonable ticket price ...

... the best cakes you have ever seen and the 2nd was a chocolate shop to DIE for. We went mad and bought stuff and then split it half half. Back to the hotel for some R& R and of course a CUPPA!! The rooms dont have tea and coffee which is not good but I am getting used to it.

After a cuppa Julie and I went for a walk up to the church passing the lovely cows wearing their cow bells around their neck. Also some private ...
