Unlike all our other mornings we woke up before 9:00 this morning for a pre-breakfast swim.

We rushed down to the closest beach which is usually packed with tourists, but was empty at 8:15 in the morning-apart from a few germans saving some spots by planting their towels and walking off back to bed.

As we all hopped in, mum fell off the edge and Joseph walked in slowly we swam out a little way, realising how lucky we were! Croatia ...

... Austrian rental wasn't insured for Montenegro. Originally we had planned on hiring motorbikes for the day however yesterday was such a killer heat wise we though better of it and went with a car instead. We have absolutely no idea why it was taking the ...

I mean, I already have ...

However, I think the trip will be quite different based on traveling with a lady and having a bigger budget. Last time we were in Dubrovnik, we stayed in a cramped, somewhat ****** and yet totally fine for us 1 room apartment outside the old town, up about 250 steps from the beach. It was fantastic and cost about $40/night, if memory serves. ...

    Cousin catch up in Croatia

A travel blog entry by mattadore on Jul 14, 2013

... went swimming while Jodi took photos from above. Idyllic spot! Shardae left just after 2pm to go and walk the City Walls. Jodi and I decided that this little bar in the walls of Dubrovnik was too pleasant to leave just yet, so we got another drink and parked ourselves there for another hour or so. We walked around the old city some more, stopping in briefly at another cool bar outside the walls. We carried on walking around the back streets until it was time ...
