After spending the morning meandering around the markets (incredible food produce clothes bags.shoes Antiques..you name it) in Split we had lunch before meeting our driver Pieter who drove us on the coastal road between Split and Dubrovnik. It was an incredible scenic trip full of contrast...spectacular barren mountains and the glistening mill pond of the Adriatic Sea ...quaint ...

... restaurant along the strip and I got some spaghetti bolognaise, we were given some complimentary bread and 'fish balls' which were surprisingly ok. There seems to be a lot of cats in Dubrovnik, we were indoors on the first floor and an angry cat still came into the restaurant and tried to get some food off us! Day 2 - Went to the Old Town and did the walk around the City Walls. Luckily it wasn't too busy so we weren't stuck ...

... at the yachts. The Croatian coastline must be one of the most beautiful and enjoyable to sail. No wonder there are so many yachts, many very expensive ones too. Just along from Primosten is Marina, which appears to be just that, with around 100 boats averaging close to a million at a guess.

We drove to Split one Sunday afternoon and the rain stayed away while we explored part of the old town where ...
