      ... the fibers, making for stronger, denser wool cloth. They sometimes mixed goat hair with sheep's wool to make the wool water repellant. We were served a light lunch of local wine, bread, the local smoked ham (similar to prosciutto), olives and pickles. Got back to Dubrovnik by 1:30 p.m. And headed back to Old Town for last minute visits to the local Aquarium (it ain't no Monterey Bay Aquarium) housing ...

      ... into some nice gentle water off beside some nice sun beds. Having splashed around, played catch with our new beach ball and searched for some pretty fish we got out heading for the local bar for a drink of course.

      We also found some more steps just for Joseph to climb up resulting in a small paddy and dad 'enjoyed' his cheese sandwich which of course in the heat was sweating rather repulsively. Mum and I felt very smug.

      ... ready for our ride out of town tomorrow morning. July 6 A great first day of riding. It as absolutely flat for 60km(36 miles) along the Canal de L'lourq ( pronounced la luc). It took us about 15 km to wind our way out of downtown Paris to meet up with the canal. After getting to the suburbs and rural area we had a beautiful ride along the canal lined with poplar trees.       ... of steps. We were following her down a narrow street where we had to squeeze past a large Mercedes. As we went round the corner we realised it was was a dead end and no room to turn round. We had to reverse back past the Mercedes! Luckily we had the two girls to help.

      ... back into port! Whew, the 2.5hrs was just enough for Geoff & I given the conditions and we were the more fitter and experienced ones in the group!....Not sure how the others are likely to rate it on their Trip Advisor review! We had rented an apartment right outside the walls of the Old Town, so that afternoon we meandered through the streets and alleys for a final time and then relaxed with pizza and beer for our last night in Croatia having had a fabulous two weeks ...
