    ... they showed us around and to the room, however pool was being cleaned apparently and not usable til 3pm. We were a bit miffed as this was supposed to be our lazy pool day, but we set off for lunch at a local soda, then bought our bus tickets to Jaco for two days time, and walked to the seafront. Walking area but no beach. We also popped into a hotel to see how it compared to Wide Mouth.

    ... adjusting to the more touristy side of the country. Anyway, we saw lots of wildlife! Sloth, iguanas, frogs, bats, and birds. So much wildlife in fact that when we reached the beach the guide was way behind schedule and didn't have time for us to hang out on the beach.
