    ... it is almost impossible to get parking close to the beaches and popular river spots. The Noosa Marina area has markets on a Sunday so we stopped in to get prawns for Brad and a pineapple for me. There are cafes and restaurants and parking isn't too bad. We will be back through Noosa on our way down to catch up with William and Uli who unfortunately weren't available this time. Tomorrow we head to Seventeen Seventy for 3 ...

    ... Couldn't swim so I called the lifesaver��I laughed nonstop ,but they didn't drown because The Pool Was 5'5 so they laughed even harder at me because I Called The Lifesaver��

    ... and butcher birds arrive to be fed by Madge (and me this week). Staying here is rather like 'glamping': two of the four walls of my room are completely open and so I drift off to sleep and wake up in the breeze, with the deafening silence of millions of unseen creatures croaking, hooting, chirping, squawking - but in a very comfortable bed, not a tent!!

    ... very active but we did manage to return to them later to say hi. The snakes were very impressive with many different types in the exhibition.

    By this time we noticed it was time for the tigers show and hopped on the shuttle to South East Asia where we managed to catch the end of the tiger show. This included a keeper playing with the tigers in the water like kittens having a great time! We nipped back passed the red pandas and camels to Africa. Giraffes, ...

    ... and invited us along to rent a boat with them. We met them at the bus station, met their friends Rachel and Danny and got a bus over to a different part of the town, Noosaville. This area of town was really nice too with so many awesome looking restaurants! We went to the boat jetty to rent our boat which was such a bargain- for an hour it was only 9 bucks each! We loaded into the boat and cruised around the Noosa river for a bit, having a few wines and beers ...
