After drinking that god awful stuff called GOON it was a miracle that I even woke up! I will never drink that stuff again, or never that much! We woke up at 6.30am to set off for just after 7 for our big day of canoeing and walking to the sand patch in the Everglades. We arrived in Noosa after a lengthy 10 hour drive at about 8pm. However, what we didn't take into account was that not only were all the campsite receptions closed, but it was also bank holiday weekend and they were all full up anyway! So after a fair bit of driving around to find one, we gave up and parked on the main street which runs right across the river leading to the sea.
