      ... all too expensive. We did manage a coffee and a very sweet sticky bun. On the way back we came across a craft market by one of the beaches with various interesting stalls.
      Later we got together with W&W, took a cab to Lahaina, walked around a bit and ended up at the Lahaina Fish Co, a seafood restaurant for dinner. We had a table by the water and the food was excellent.

      ... but that wasn't going to deter us - we ordered and walked across the street to the beach. There were lots of clouds, but we stuck it out, hoping for a beautiful show - the colours usually reflect off the clouds nicely, but not tonite, there was no pretty show, and it was starting to rain, so we ran back to the car and headed to the condo.       ... local favorites, that was cheap and delicious. We ordered a Pineapple Boat full of fresh fruit, which wasn't on the menu, to start us off. I had the half of papaya with cottage cheese and Keller had the special Loco Moco. We do love food. Be prepared for some food talk. :-)

      ... home we stop there. The beach is gorgeous! But being so late in the afternoon it has gotten windy and the waves are rough. We decide we are too tired to deal with the surf and sit on the sand, a welcome relief for our butts after the rocks at Honolua.       ... pucker like you've eaten something sour. She's got this scream when she doesn't get her way that's like shards of glass going into your ears. Ah well, she's a doll otherwise. Henry has been incredible this trip. What a difference it makes when kids listen! 90% of the time, anyway. Maybe 70%. We had an early lunch at Cheeseburger Island Style.
