Exchanged stories and photos and consumed a huge cup of
Fanta. Probably about 800 mls but cheaper than getting a small cup.

Uneventful flight home and managed about 6 hours sleep in
      my business class seat.

Australian customs is very well organised for returning

Great holiday but back to work that morning- four hours after landing!

Len and Leatha met us at the bottom and took us back to jalapeños for dinner. The snow had also fallen everywhere and covered the roads. We could not see the lines, so you ...

... hotel was a quick 8 minute trio from the airport and we were allowed an early check in so we had a full day ahead of us. We thought we should take the opportunity to head straight for the shopping outlets, where everybody, including Steven spent up big time, treating themselves to some brand name shoes, jackets and clothes at a fraction of the Aussie prices. Now we have that out of ...

... ran out of memory, not his own it has to be said, but on his camera card. Once we'd stopped taking the mickey I lent him another one so that he could pile out onto the open air wagon and get going again in full 'Railfanny' mode.

When the journey finished our resident Trainspotter headed for the engines and whilst we were initially a bit miffed at the delay, we probably would have been stuck in traffic so he lived to fight another day.

It was the back of 5pm ...
