    ... cleared. We went for the early in transit option, Cunard said they were trying to operate it like a rendering day to save people waiting stood in line ashore. So we had to be in the Queen's Room for 7am and the self disembarkation people same place at 7.15am to get a ticket and be sent off 50 at a time.     ... be late because of the big ship in our way). Soon there was a line of ships heading out of the port (we were fourth in line) and bidding Fort Lauderdale goodbye. Our balcony is kind of neat: it takes a jog so we have a section that looks toward the front of the ship. I managed to get some pictures of the pilot boat taking the pilot off the ship as we made it out of port. Tomorrow is a sea day and then we will be at Grand Turk for a day of adventures ...

    ... to the Panama Canal, it is just another port town. More Fjords then back to the Pacific and onto Valparaiso the port near Santiago, Chile. About 560 people we doing the back to back like us but a new 1400 people were embarking. Back to a major capital city for a tour after passing through the Casablanca wine region on route. Can't do everything but we did sample lots of Chilean wines on the cruise which of course were featured. ...
