... an interesting few hours exploring the houses, grounds, museum and lab we were off again heading towards Tampa.

We stopped in at Apollo beach which is known for its Manatees. They come into a small canal/outlet that the Tampa Electric company releases their waste water into as it is warm. In winter time a larger number of manatees can be seen in the canal up to around 300, we were lucky enough to see over 100. The Manatee belongs to the same family of ...

... on Thursday. I worked on my tan and my reading list. Thursday, I played golf at St. Pete Country Club, where we were members when we lived on Tierra Verde from 1999 - 2005. Very nostalgic. The club really hasn't changed much, but was in excellent condition. Didn't play very well (95) with several bad holes. ... from Tierra Verde on Monday night, so Phil and I headed out for Woody's at St. Pete Beach. Legendary place, been there forever, right by Blind Pass. Good cold beer and food. Beautiful night out.
