Today was another tourist day, so it gave us a chance to sleep in - a little. We've been dodging the rain since we left, and I guess I can't really complain, as we are in the path of some of the worst storms passing through Texas and into the middle of the country. ... Cavern and the Crystal Dome Cavern. Mystic Cavern was the oldest, and was well established since the 1800's, As with most really old show caves, there was considerable damage to the formations from abuse. They once made moonshine in the cave, and there was even a dance floor at one time, and they held dances inside the cave.
