    ... here (but has to interrupt her holiday for some work in Prague ... how terrible!) Fortunately, nearly all of them spoke English so we were able to converse pretty easily.     ... was incredible. Postcard perfect. It's just so beautiful here. We met a couple Greg and Jean from California who we get on with really well so kinda tag teamed with them around the lakes. Cycling was great. Good to get off the feet for a change. Also eating lots of German cuisine which is a welcome change from pizza pizza pizza! Auf Wiedersehen Arrivederci ...

    ... breakfast but still with some difficulty. Left it running on gas during the day
    but it had failed to fire again while we were away walking. Will leave on electric

    ... the main town of Mals. Here I come across another--much uglier--fortress: a concrete dome in the middle of the field that looks like a grim reminder of another war: World War II. Mals is a larger towns, with all the shops I need to stock up on supplies--and some cool towers to give it some character. I've gotten my second wind and am really enjoying this Superhike once again.
