      ... have been an achievement. From where the road ends, its approx. 800 m up the mountain side, with the last 300m or so requiring the skill of a mountain goat with no nerves.



      Since 1955, a cable car can take you the first 500m. Should you choose to walk up the (now very civilised) track, its a good 90min. Due to time constraints, we chose to take the cable car. From that point, the next 300m takes over 20 min. ...

      On August 17, they had to drive back to Germany. It was a good-bye for a couple of weeks because in September I will fly back from Frankfurt Airport via CA to Mexico and will see my family in Iffezheim again.

      ... circular hiking trail, we explored interesting sites: echo point, stone circle, etc.

      This time, we couldn't use the little train (Hoehenbahn - Schmalspurbahn) directly to the restaurant because the heavy rain undermined two weeks ago the tracks. A temporary path was built and plastic planes covered this area (see pictures).

      ... Salzburg which was a great city. Mozart was everywhere, since it is his birthplace. The city had a charm to it and I loved it. My favorite part was going canyoning! The water was FREEZING, but it was such a cool experience for someone who loves the outdoors like me, and I can't wait to go ...
