After getting some groceries and having some lunch we decided to go for a ride on the bikes since Woods Bike Trail is right next to the park. We road all the way up to Elk Horn Ski Resort. As it was Karen's birthday we decided to celebrate by doing the Bald Mountain trail, a 5 mile hike, entirely uphill with a peak elevation of 7.5k feet, approximately 2.5k feet higher than the trail head......what could possible go wrong?
