... out of the vehicle and into the care of Abdul, a charming chap who steered us down winding alleys and narrowing passageways until we arrived at a non-descript doorway. "Et voila" we had arrived at the Le Coq Berbere.

Bachir greeted us as we arrived, showed us to our room and let us know that dinner would be served when we were ready, and since it was about 11pm, we were ready any time...

For the first time this week we woke to rain – but it didn't matter too much as we were leaving to go home. The coach came to collect us on time and after fetching other travellers from local hotels, we arrived at Luqa Airport in good time for our flight home. Dinner that night had a Maltese theme so it was a good introduction to the place. Our fears about half-board were completely removed as the buffet was excellent: many choices of salad, 2 of soup, about 6 main courses, multiple side dishes and lots of desserts, all washed ...
