... out of the vehicle and into the care of Abdul, a charming chap who steered us down winding alleys and narrowing passageways until we arrived at a non-descript doorway. "Et voila" we had arrived at the Le Coq Berbere.

Bachir greeted us as we arrived, showed us to our room and let us know that dinner would be served when we were ready, and since it was about 11pm, we were ready any time...

Arrived safely after a great flight from Australia. Traveled business class with Singapore and get 10/10 for service and great food. Transferred to Lufthansa and again good service but beds not as comfortable. First day just wandered around Manchester and got our bearings. Busy place and very industrial. Stayed at the Crowne Plaza and loved it very central just walked to everything. ...

That afternoon/ evening we had a family barbecue in the back garden; great company, lovely food (special mention to the delicious marinaded steaks) and sunny weather. Just before we went to bed there was also time to see the cricket highlights of England's amazing victory over India in the 4th Test.
