I've peaked early with the drinking and eating on this trip and we haven't even boarded the ship yet. There's a lot of cafes and restaurants around Fremantle and I feel like I've been into everyone of them. I'll have to come back and spend some time exploring the streets as the buildings are lovely. We did managed to boost the economy ;)

... of it gristle that I actually just left it and went to McDonald's instead, it wasn't the best street food I ever ate that's for sure! That evening we wandered back towards Clarke quay which unlike the morning we arrived was bustling with lots of bars and restaurants filled with people socialising and was a great end to our stay in Singapore. We both left saying we wish we could have more time so I definitely think I will be going back sometime! The next morning we took the metro back to ...

... and cloudy so we set off for a post breeze explore. Once again on a the very frequent and pleasant suburban train. Fremantle had the air of a much older settlement with many more preserved colonial buildings with lovely iron worked balconies. There were many more street musicians as well. Again most of the shops seemed to be independent places with none of the homogenous high street you get in the UK. We decided to celebrate ...
