I've peaked early with the drinking and eating on this trip and we haven't even boarded the ship yet. There's a lot of cafes and restaurants around Fremantle and I feel like I've been into everyone of them. I'll have to come back and spend some time exploring the streets as the buildings are lovely. We did managed to boost the economy ;)

Well we hit the 1year mark since we arrived in Perth. Have now seen all seasons from a cool winter with big storms to 44 degrees in December. The weather overall here is great. Enjoying the city life which is always buzzing with action. Some action not so flash when ...

Car service day today. We packed up our belongings and left the apartment we had for the last 5 nights in Fremantle. It was a great place right in the centre of town- easy walking to all the shops and transport. Subaru service people were very good and services the car and washed and vacuumed it thoroughly. That was the best part! We spent the day at a shopping centre which was a bummer but ...

Once the patient had healed from their 10-20 floggings, they would be drug back to the flogging block for the next round; sometimes 5, sometimes another 10, before the doctor again stops the process, and tends to the wounds. If someone was sentenced to 150 floggings, this process would last 4-6 months. Their ...

... a renegade kangaroo who came out of nowhere! Needless to say i aged about 10 years during the encounter!! We were a little confused as to how to get where we were going and when inquiring about the tram were told that it wasn't running as normal. We expected the usual, driver is sick, or for maintenance but not due to being struck by lightening! Makes sense once you have seen some of the trees on the walk there. What can i say i love bats and was not ...
