          ... and her family again, only had 2 nights so made the most of that with meals out and a family BBQ.

          We drove to Burleigh Heads also on the second day to see our old neighbours from Summerhill.

          Storms both nights with rain and thunder and lightening but it was still very warm. No more leaks ...

          ... was available from 5am to 8am - rather early. There was toast and cornflakes. Nothing too complicated. A fellow all dressed in black shoes, black slacks and a black leather jacket sat at the table next to me. He had his trusty black leather suitcase with him - ready for???           Our long awaited trip back to the Kimberleys has begun.
          By 9.30am Friday the 5th June, with the help of our sons Shane and Brett we were ready to hit the road in our new Landcruiser Sahara and Roadstar van.
          Good run to Miles where we stayed the first night. Boy has the car got some tow, didn't even notice the hills. Stayed at the Miles Crossroads Caravan Park, which was very nice, and reasonable.

          ... waited. Oh we also popped into a shopping centre and found an amazing Japanese store where we finally found a handheld fan!! We checked in, settled in and put our clothes on a wash. We then went to coolambabah wetlands. We have literally never sever seen so many kanagas!! And we went for a little walk on the boardwalk as pretty much all the other routes were flooded - this area had had about 110mm ...
