      ... big round-about in the center of town was all lit up, along with most of the restaurants. Christmas morning found us out on our balcony watching a bunch of little boys march by, dressed as Santa Claus, singing "Happy Birthday Mr. Christmas". There's obviously something lost in translation there as the boys were on their way to the big church down the street run by a Chinese missionary and his family.       ... apartments in a 12 level building from which most have an awesome view directly to the beach (nothing in between house and beach!) and an own swimming pool only accessible for residents (the whole complex is pretty secure and the beach is also only accessible with a key!). There are several other buildings we've rented an apartment in but the view out on the coast from 8th floor is still the best! Midnight Cove and Gulf Heaven are two other names that come to my mind ...

      ... it is presented in gift-form later this month... But we managed to actually put my camera to use for a few other fun shots, including several of a Great Blue Heron that landed just before sunset and started picking morsels out of the tidepools. What a majestic creature and utterly calm feel at that golden moment. Maybe it's because I kept my expectations low, but this trip has really been a picturesque, relaxing vacation so far.

      ... session, "that was fun, we should do it more often". Really?....he was the one who chose NOT to use a learners walker, and landed on his bottom, more times than we could count, before he 'got the hang of it'. Sliding around like a pro by the time 2 hours were up.
