    ... Jess said they were taking photos of her and that whenever she's in Singapore that people always take photos of her.     ... after Ala Moana yesterday, we're also getting a little tired of seeing the same chain stores again and again, and we've lost count of the ABC Stores! I was really sad to read that the International Marketplace had been closed and is being redeveloped into a shopping mall :( This area seems to have really lost any feeling of real Hawaii - I'm very glad that we also went to the Big Island, and if we did come back to Oahu, I'd give Waikiki a miss.     I walked back to Sea lIfe Park and caught the #23 bus back - which took over an hour. Once back I headed to the beach front front to watch the sunset and enjoy a cocktail in front of Ala Moana Surfrider Hotel before heading to PF Changs for dinner to have my favourite chicken lettuce wraps.     ... there were a lot of people getting surfing lessons - we considered that too, but decided we needed to work on our strength & flexibility first (it's also much cheaper in Australia too). The next day we managed at the last minute to get on a day tour which really helped us to understand the geography and history of the island.
