This is the only place in which I felt an emotional response on entering the house. There is such a feeling of the outside being part of the house BUT the house is older, the HOA fees are much higher and you have to join Plantation in order to have a club house and activities. ... 10 state parks between Naples and Tampa, a distance of 166 miles. We decided to spend the next 2 nights at Oscar Scherer State Park, 80 miles south of Tampa.  As all the previous Florida state parks we have visited this one is kept mostly in its natural state, but very well maintained with nice RV/Tent sites.  Our site was very secluded with water and electricity.  The next day we took a 7 mile hike through scrub and pine flatwoods (low pine trees ...

... day for cocktails and watching the sunset either along or in the company of friends. Every evening, we discuss the weather and contemplate what tomorrow will bring. In spite of our pleasant stay in Dunedin, it is probably time to move on. As such, we are contemplating leaving this Friday, weather permitting and barring any other complications. It will be good to be moving again and see what adventures and sights St. Pete has to offer but it will be tough to compare to lovely Dunedin.
