... I had a dog around. We had planned to go to Clearwater beach that day so we went off in the car, there were traffic jams for miles and when we arrived near the beach realised it was going to cost $20-30 to park for the day. Uh oh. We drove along the road till a lady with a sign waved us down. She was offering parking in her driveway for $20. I explained I didn't have cash but she said that was fine. We parked up and then she asked me to move it closer to the edge ...

Since we live in Ohio, if you get a new puppy Feb 1 (stupid idea) you have to do extra things like shoveling snow ...

In the morning we walked to the pier and looked in some surf shops on the way. Then we went to the docks and caught a little tugboat to see some dolphins but there were none. We had a good view of the coastline though as the boat went into the Gulf of Mexico.

Then we walked back and spent the afternoon in the pool. We went to an Italian restaurant for tea and I had pizza.

Florida fact: You have to tip the waiter, housekeeping and almost anyone that serves ...

... Mama, which we both got, in the souvenir Fish Bowl. It was Ok, I think that was the only one for those I ordered.
Got our passes for the Spa for the duration. only thing they were missing in the Spa was the heated stone loungers, but we survived without them.

Our sailaway was right on time, and we headed towards blue water.
