... You can see the lake from almost everywhere in the house. When I walked in today I actually felt an "ahhhh" looking out at the water. This is the only place in which I felt an emotional response on entering the house. There is such a feeling of the outside being part of the house BUT the house is older, the HOA fees are much higher and you have to join Plantation in order to have a club house and activities. ... house to see. It is near the Inlets, has a pool and is 3/4 of a mile from Nokomis beach. The pictures look great. I have a lot of reservations about getting a house rather than a condo, because there is no other entity who is responsible for caring for your place while you are gone. Our site was very secluded with water and electricity. The next day we took a 7 mile hike through scrub and pine flatwoods (low pine trees ...

In spite of our pleasant stay in Dunedin, it is probably time to move on. As such, we are contemplating leaving this Friday, weather permitting and barring any other complications. It will be good to be moving again and see what adventures and sights St. Pete has to offer but it will be tough to compare to lovely Dunedin.
