... out to check out Maui Kombucha since Scott had found it on his planning searches and I love me some Kombucha. They had 4 different flavors on tap and the woman working let me do a small taste of each flavor to help me decide what I wanted. We each got a 12oz glass to drink there and I bought a mason jar full to drink throughout the rest of our time in Maui. We chatted with the woman working the counter asking her things we should do and ...

... few seemed to fit. But that's not my problem. I think tomorrow will be another beach day.

Every time we drive to Paia, we pass Hookipa Beach. I know I say out loud "Wow! " Because it is like seeing the first fireworks on the 4th of July.

We came home and I worked on this blog. The pictures don't want to cooperate. Guess it's because it's a Mac and the software was probably written for a PC.

... we took the Fodor recommendation and walked down to Tommy Bahamas to get a cheaper lunch. The food there was incredibly good and the waiter was very insightful. He educated us about various trails in Maui along with the attempts by the Hawaiian locals to succeed from the US. The trail he told us about is called Commando and we will need to find a guide for that one since it's not well marked and involves hiking though a stream a couple of miles and then up ...
