    ... out (by this evening, he was already a lot brighter). Alex and Tom went to the pool while mark rested a bit, then we had a quick sandwich for lunch before heading off to the beach. Today we went to DT Fleming park, which is a very nice sandy beach with a park and trees (= shade!!) next to it.     ... island for a good hour before the captain decided they had probably had enough for one day, and moved us on. It brought back strong memories of the last time we saw humpback whales up close, in Tonga on our last big trip where we snorkelled with the whales and became smitten with these peaceful giants. It is something for which the word 'awesome' could have been invented; something that lifts you out of yourself, and stays with you for as long as you live.
