Lodged missing bag report and headed off to our hotel. On way landscape was hilly with clouds everywhere, lots of sugarcane on one side and quite arid on the other. Cars driving on wrong side of road, bloody Americans, lots of chevs. Arrived ...

A visit to the submarine Bowfin is not included in our half day tour, so we pass that by and back on the bus for the short drive to the Missouri. This is the last of the US navy battleships, a bit like HMS Belfast, moored up as a maritime museum. It was launched just before the end of the war and the signing of the surrender of the Japanese took place on ...

... aren't included in the above highlights. What can I say, except that Hawaii has been very, very good to us. I feel like I left part of my heart in Hawaii and I know we'll be back one day.

These are some of the photos from our time in Maui with Chris's folks, brother Mike, and Mike's girlfriend Sue. We stayed in a condo resort called Kamaole Sands in Kihei and had a relaxing, wonderful time. Thanks for such an awesome Christmas gift, Jim & Norleen!!!
