Early start this morning after another rocky rolly night on the Atlantic! We arrived in Malaga, Spain. A lovely clean city by the beach, but it was early when we passed through so it was very quiet. ... a feeling of weightlessness in between steps. I got back to the cabin, got the suitcases quickly set out prior to the midnight deadline and tried to get to sleep as we rolled and churned, listening to the wind whistle through the balcony door.

We carried our treasures of magnets and T shirts and met our bus for our trip to the country and the mountain city of Mijas.

... the area. There are restaurants with beautiful views of the Mediterranean with Spanish music playing in the background. Like every Andalusian town Mijas has its own Plaza de Toros or the bull ring and a beautiful plaza or town square. If you are a photography enthusiast like me, you’ll find every street of Mijas inviting to be photographed.

We drove right through the streets of Marbella as there were precious few parking spots, and it didn't inspire us to stop, being just another resort town - even with its exclusive reputation. We picked up the Peurto Benus signs and headed there.
Peurto Benus is where all the millionaires' yachts and cruisers are moored. The small harbour is surrounded by designer boutiques ...
