    Tis the night before flight, only 1 creature remain stirring, while the other is with wine and close to his sight blurring.     ... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. I walked out on the beach, but didn't go into the Gulf of Mexico cuz I didn't have my swim suit along. Lots of folks were sunning themselves and just enjoying the good weather ...

    It was an early start for us today as the tenders started taking people across to the dock at 7 am. Beautiful clear blue water and typical sunny sky as you would associate with an island in the South Pacific. We checked out the local tours and opted for another circle tour of the island.     ... on surrounding keys. On Saturdays, there is a fantastic farmers market that goes on for several blocks and has wonderful vegetables, meats and seafood. There are several parks in Sarasota but not as many as in St. Pete. While it is flat enough to ride a bike this is not really what one would call a bike friendly city due to all the traffic and fewer trails.

    The marina itself is top notch. It has three restaurants and bars and just about any marine service one might need. ...
