... on the road by 5:45. Sleep for little miss was kind of a mess, the first two hours she slept the majority of, but other than that sleep came in about 30 minute increments the rest of the 12 hour drive home. We all made it home in one piece but there were parts of it that got a bit hairy. Between toys, cell phones (in which unnecessary groupons were accidentally ordered, lol!), laptops and a little bit ...

They take your family's picture when you board and sell them at the end, but everything else including beer, wine, soda and water to drink, crackers to feed the local sea gulls, even a chance to drive the boat for kids (little miss was far to young at the time for that) is included in your admission price. Its an absolutely amazing way to see the harbor, the gulf and the bay in two hours time!
... right back down to the water and went in up to her knees. We were so excited, keep in mind, up until this point in the week, if the waves even touched her toes, she instantly took off in the other direction as fast as her little legs would take her. I ran so quick to catch up with her that I didn't get a chance to grab my camera so I didn't get to get a picture of her :(. From that point on she loved the water, mommy's little girl loving ...
... cloudy and rainy when we were there, but I bet on a sunny day the view would be even more amazing.
On the way home we stopped at cvs and picked up a carton of ice cream, vacations have to have ice cream right! After another walk on the beach we all sat at the table eating ice cream, watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse. I'm pretty sure little miss thought this was paradise! A perfect way to end another perfect ...
... headed over to Fort Walton to go to the Heritage Park. Hubby is a big history buff, so he was excited to check it out. It encompassed the native American history of the area, the history of the civil war area, and a step back in time to the local school and post office. It was a $5 admission but it got you into 4 different buildings, so definitely worth while in my opinion.
After that we decided to go check out the fishing pier ...
