    ... holes , but the competition was always going to be between Chris and Russ. The whole course had geckos running around all over the place which was really cool to watch.     ... again we are sitting at a downtown marina with a terrific view of the city. There is art everywhere in Sarasota. This includes museums, outdoor sculptures, parks, theaters (the kind that feature plays and musicals although they have movie theaters, too.) The opera house is just across the street and hosts several operas a week. There is fabulous shopping if that is your kind of thing but it is all very haute couture and expensive.     ... but as we were going down US27 north we had a storm on either side of us, but there was a clear pathway ahead, lucky for us, because if it rains we have to stop and put on our wet weather gear over the top of what we are wearing.

    We arrived in Tampa around 6:30pm and settled into the Hilton Garden Inn - nice place. It was about a 4 hour trip by the road, but we stopped for gas and breaks so it took us an extra 2 hours.
