    ... and the parkway was there. Ok, I was expecting something more, but it was just another two lane road in a park. The road was good, very little in the way of warnings though.     ... and killed some time before having to get a taxi to the greyhound station. Killing time included showering in the pool shower in the storm...that was an experience. Anyway here I am, waiting patiently for my 11 hour bus to's not so bad the woman in front of me is going to a city near Chicago!!! America is soooo big and the customers of The Greyhound are marginally better than Peckham Post ...

    ... it a point to know all the names and heights of the bridges we might encounter, highlighted markers and plotted our course on hard copy as well as on the GPS and auto pilot. And you know what? Turns out thorough preparation makes a HUGE difference. We made great time and arrived without once getting lost or panicking.
