We woke up this morning and hung out in the kitchen with the English girls and a young American guy called David, from California. ... It was no fun to walk around and many, many things were shut down. Fortunately, we all stayed safe and bonded back at the hostel, situated a bit away from the city center. Perhaps because of the dilemma we were put into, I was reminded of a key lesson of travel: people make an experience, more so than the actual activity of what we do or what amazing sites we see.
