    ... here is was BIG and impressive. We had prepaid tickets for the tower because I had heard it was really, really expensive to purchase tickets on the spot. Our tickets were just really expensive but exactly a quarter of the price being asked for at the entrance. The price there was 500AED. (There's a little exercise for my maths kids.     We arrived safe and somewhat sound after travelling for 26 hours. The last leg, from Washington DC to Dubai, was a 13 hour flight but it wasn't so bad.
