    ... is one of the best we have stayed in and a perfect finish to the holiday. After a short rest we had a walk up to the railway station and stopped at a restaurant nearby for a spot of lunch. We had to be back at the hotel at 1.30 to see a rep from the local Tour company to confirm the final arrangements for the transport back to the airport.     ... can just wander in for a look. We were told there are no rooms to let there, only (expensive) suites.
    We were escorted by the guide through first the spice souk, then the gold souk which he said was the largest in the world with over 300 shops.     ... at a burial site at the Al Qusais Archeological which is fascinating, next we went to see the Jumeriah Mosque which is truly beautiful however tourists cannot visit inside the mosque but just to get a look at it and take some photos was great.     ... the hotel may have been one of the first built in Middle East oil boom, and not refurbished since) we caught the Metro to the Dubai Mall for a wander and some food. As it was Saturday morning which is like Sunday morning in Dubai (weekend is Friday and Saturday) the place was pretty dead which gave us a good chance to easily wander around and see the place.
