We are on the west coast of the tongue of Florida, that is the Gulf of Mexico side, and south of Tampa, the main city on this side, Miami being the main one on the Atlantic side. If you are looking at a map of the state, you will see south of Tampa, Sarasota (famous as base of Ringling Bros and Barnhams Circus of yesteryear) then Venice and next Englewood and inland a little, North Port. Pt Charlotte is just south of us, then Punta Gorda, then Fort Meyers. ...
