    ... seen most of the sights in Stockholm thanks to Ulrika's amazing guide skills on our trip in 2001 and didn't really want another day of crowds so opted to stay in Nynashamn where we have anchored. Stockholm is about an hours travel from here. We were tendered off the ship which took sometime as you can imagine with 4000 people on the cruise!! we finally got ashore about ten and got on the hop on hop off bus as it would enable us to get out of the town ...

    ... and shabby.

    It was a really big day with lots of driving, but well worth it, in spite of the GPS not being able to locate us on some of the new roads in Miami. The flyovers are amazing, and the traffic is thick with little regard for speed limits.

    I was excited to see a flamingo in the wetlands, and turkey vultures on the high street lights on the causeway bridge to South Beach.

    Refreshed by first class (thank you air miles!) and three hours of political discussion with the complete stranger in the seat next to me, I arrive in Miami.
