... relevant to my NZ experience. Firstly, it rained cats and dogs for most of the time I was there (but, on the plus side, this meant that I saw more rainbows I have ever seen in a 2 week period). Secondly, and more importantly, as I visited these sites I was inspired by the absolute passion, positivity and appreciation for challenge with which educators worked and talked about teaching & learning. I am not sure about wifi availability in the areas we are travelling in, but will endeavour to keep you up to date. China is out of our comfort zone, but this is what the adventure is about. Exploring some of the oldest culture, immersing ourselves amongst millions of people and experiencing the good and bad is part of the journey! Ni hao ...

... in for a day of local football. And I gotta say - what a revelation. As someone who attends many games at the MCG, it was simply fantastic to experience football at the level one below. By days end, the crowd was probably a leisurely couple of thousand or three but the lack of spectators didn't quell the depth of passion. The game ebbed and flowed in the windy conditions on a ground made heavy by the overnight rain. The game was competitive and ...
