... close to the beach and surfers. We also saw blue whales migrating up the coast jumping out of the sea and spouting water, there must have been hundreds under the sea. This was really cool and made us want to go on a whale watching trip. The view from the lighthouse and the walk was amazing definitely worth a trip. ... in the mountain. The colors out there are magnificent! It was nice to relax there, and we chose our next stop: Port Macquarie. ... thing! Some of the waves were pretty big especially for us beginners, luckily the sea felt refreshing not cold. I managed to stand up once for about 3 seconds! Was very proud of this moment (even though the instructor was helping hold my board!). By myself, I managed to stand up very low for about 2 seconds 3/4 times - at least I managed to do something!
