Very pleasant apartment once you get inside. The outside of the building is run down and the property surrounds are not the best at the back (the front is the main pedestrian thoroughfare and city square close by) but once inside it is like an oasis.

... spending the next few hours with them. We climbed the tower at the cathedral (probably the highest point in the city) from which we had a fabulous view of Wroclaw, strolled along the river and finally ended up having a long boozy lunch in the square. Amazingly after taking for some time it emerged that they know a friend of mine from my University days who also came from Sale. It really is a small small world! Now, when asking younger people for direction, without exception, help was given in very good English .
I went out to the city to have some food, it was very lively and entertaining . The night was spend in a Hostel, shared one room with 6 others.
Working out now we're heading today . Warsaw is a bit too far, so somewhere in between.
