    Took the drive to Fish Creek Falls and did a short walk to a great view. There was a path leading down to the bottom of the falls but using good sense we passed and just enjoyed the view from topside. A lot of water was flowing over the falls.     Success - a wonderful moose siting (bull with full rack and cow) in Rocky Mountain National Park. Got up at daybreak to see what we might see (yesterday, Monday). Also saw lots of elk and heard them do their buggling and whistling.

    Decided to stay just one day in Rocky Mountain NP because campground had been cleared of all trees due to pine beetle infestation ... so while the animals were WOW, the campground ...

    Last photo is looking towards the back side of the mountain, this is not open yet, but chatting to a ski patrol guy on the lift Wed, he said it should be Friday, in the local paper today it has been confirmed that tomorrow morning pretty much the whole mountain will be open.
