... but we didn’t get there in time to make a reservation for dinner. There was a wedding going on at the top when we arrived. Fun! The ski runs are steep, but I’m sure they are packed in the winter. There was a sign up there about mountain lions; we haven’t seen any, but the guide in Grand Tetons said that 9 out of 10 hikers are watched by mountain lions as they trek through the forest. Yikes!

Nothing much to report except that LA has had 12" of rain, Lake Tahoe has had 6-8 feet (not inches) of snow in the last week and here in Steamboat it hasn't stopped snowing since last Friday (thanks to the La Nina weather effect). Colorado is in a Winter Storm Warning until Thursday 5pm, this means way more snow and no idea as to whether its inches or feet of snow falling.
