    ... precincts, before walking down many, many steps to reach the historic Charles Bridge. We then finished our city sight-seeing tour in front of the famous Astronomical clock. When it strikes each hour, all sorts of things happen which attract a large audience of tourists. We might get to see the 'show' tomorrow.

    ... a beer drinker but this was not too bad...actually quite nice. A few of us from the tour stayed on to enjoy the beer, the monastry and the traditional Czech setting. The journey back into town was a slow and esuirly walk down the hill talking in the beautiful city bathed in light...MAGIC!! Stephanie, Travis and I were the last survivors from the tour and decided that traditional Chez food was in order - roast pork, goulash, bread dumplings ...

    ... homemade dumplings and fresh grated horseradish on top. The entire meal was delicious and helped us use up the last of our Czech Korunas currency as it is not able to be redeemed back home again. We brought just the right amount of Korunas for Prague. The cost of living is very reasonable here. Dinner tonight cost just over $40.00 CAD for all four of us, and the portions were huge. Our time here in Prague passed much too quickly.
