    ... it to see a little town. It must of had some links to Germany as lots of the shops and signs were written in German or German themed. We headed back to the beach in the afternoon and had a few hours there before heading off towards Brisbane. We swap our campers tomorrow so we thought we'd drive as close as possible tonight and then we can get sorted quickly in the morning.     ... the hotel was the Treasury and Fitzroy gardens so we strolled around looking those for a few minutes passing James Cook house which was transported in pieces all the way from England and sits atmospherically in the middle of one of Melbournes City parks.     ... at home down here. After finding our where abouts we opted for a Hard Rock Cafe dinner as it doesn't disappoint, other than this one. Gutted as every other one I have been to is amazing, but the service was horrendous and our burgers were cold (that could be to do with the service) I still got a souvenir glass though cause it's tradition lol!     A rather exciting day for us all today with John, Shirl and Cora along with Mickal, Justin, Foster and Felix meeting us at Treasure Island CP. For the next four weeks we will be travelling together which will be great.
    Now also in the Gold coast is Matt, Bec, Cooper, Charlie and Maddie with who arrived yesterday with my brother Troy, his wife Christine along with Chelsea and Caitlin arriving tomorrow night. The Gold coast will not know what has hit it?
