... of my day was being able to pick the wave myself, paddle to catch it, ride it perfectly into the shore! I mean, it's nice when the instructor picks the good waves for you then you catch them in but doing it yourself is even better! So after the 3 hour lesson, we were all knackered! We got back to the camping grounds, and it was time to chill out for the rest of the sunlight hours. I had a shower and got cleaned off before driving to Incinerator Rock to hang out and chase ...

... stopped in time... Then apparently I was driving recklessly.. I thought we were having fun... The curves became tighter and tighter some of the hairpins did I will admit had an advisary of 20kph.. Jeep managed at 60kph.. suspension got a good workout... brakes not as good as could have been.. ... hence the end of the world. It was so weird to see. You definitely don't see that everyday when you go at a reasonable hour. So we trekked to the campsite area where there were a few little tents here and there. Was so peaceful and the lake was incredible. At this stage there was still snow patches and you couldn't see the top of the mountains. After a beautiful day in Stanley park yesterday walking and having a picnic (all be it with Murray's 'Bear' jokes) we were ready to take on another mountain! This time Whistler mountain. ... Makers Showdown as I had heard that this was a very popular event and tickets sell out every year. Volunteering as an aisle usher meant that I got to see the entire show. My job was to ensure that nobody moved chairs into the aisles!! Nobody did, so I just got to enjoy the films.
