Drove straight up to Maggie and Brian's cottage in northern Vermont. Sun shining brightly but deceptively - it was 4deg. The cottage is right on the shore of Echo Lake ( not the same one we saw yesterday - that was south). M & B come here from Montreal, takes about 2 & half hours. ... 160; I'm pretty sure that was the cheapest meal of the whole trip! AT 2:20 PM, AFTER 16 STATES (can you name them?) AND 5,096 MILES, WE ARRIVED AT HOME!!!! (And it was in one piece!) And... no travel would be complete without ice cream or gelato and this visit was no exception as Nancie introduced me to Moran Gelato. It was so good, I visited twice and even met Elana's friend, Jonah for some tasty gelato!
