It was late afternoon by this stage and we needed to get to Verona to check in to the next hotel. So we retraced our steps to the Metro, and found our car exactly where we had left it - wheels all in tact, no graffiti and no traffic tickets - woohoo!

The city is very much a mix of old and new. This is most evident when viewing the city's most famous site, Milan's Cathedral or Dumo. Construction of the Cathedral started in the 14th century and did not end until the late 1700's. Milan's Cathedral is the second largest cathedral in the world and it is spectatcular. ...

... guess we could handle that! Just as I was getting excited about no more trains! Haha So we caught the M1 to Milan and got off at the Duomo. We snapped photos galore before wandering through Milan. It is beautiful but super busy so couldn't imagine myself living here so much. Although the cafés and fabulous and people and friendly. We stopped for lunch (shared a seafood pizza) before calling it a day. Amy was feeling ...
