Gladys'S Apartments Isla Mujeres

We made it to Mexico after 30 hours of travel. We had a great feast of mexican last night while listening to a mariachi band play and the flambe waiters make all sorts of desserts, coffees and lobster. It felt great to sit in the humid heat and be on vacation.

My pina coloada was the length of my arm! Watched Buffalo clobber ...

... at today. To earn a bit of extra cash they have caught a shark, made a little pen for it and charge tourists 100 pesos to take photos lifting it. I was asked to pay 25 pesos after I took this photo of poor little sharky. I hope they only keep it for a little while and then get a different one.

The tour ended after lunch, time for a siesta.

So a bunch of us try to go standby on Delta, but that is terrible and they only accept 2 people off the list. A couple of us are really worried about making it to Nashville so we get together and decide that we might try renting a car. ... out it is very clean and we have a great roommate from Argentina, Gaby, who is 25 and is a lone traveller. We had dinner with her tonight and have plans to do the beach tomorrow, and ladies night in the eve. Seems like we have made a new friend, and perhaps a party pal!
