    After breakfast and checking out, we took the 10:00am mini-bus to the port. Our ferry wasn't due to leave until 11:55am so we found an outdoor café right across the street from the dock and had frozen coffee/chocolate drinks to kill the time.

    On the ferry we settled ourselves on the lower covered part of the outdoor deck at the back. Bonus was we had an electrical outlet right behind us. The sea today was very calm so it was a nice ...

    ... you would see the sunset but a lot of these hotel are way too expensive. Its just they seem to be closer in from our hotel and around the next bend so to say and easier view of the sunset. Where we are at Andronis Boutique you cannot see the sunset which disappointing because you the only way for us to see the sunset is join the crowds to get a spot to see it. Oia is a magical spot and only well you only live once.

    ... were heading back to Athens for a couple hours and catching the midnight ferry for Santorini. Safe to say everyone was on a couple hours sleep if that and we were all grumpy.     ... she wore the little black flats with pirate buckles on the top -- the sole as flat as a taco. "I can feel every stone!" At the end, they were shot. The sides were all cut and torn from the volcanic stones. Hummm. We did the walk liesurely over 4 hours to stop and stare at the views along the way. Some hikers -- we only saw 3 -- walked with purpose. I can't imagine doing this "must-do" hike in the heat ...
