... in a little park next to the Tweed River just near a marina. Fish and chips and a cold drink was the go. The birthday cake came out. The song was sang and cake was eaten. Yum. We spent the afternoon there just chatting. It was a pleasant afternoon. We're glad we caught up with them. It had been two years since we last saw them.
Back to the caravan to prepare to move on tomorrow. Roast beef for dinner. It can't get any better!

Continued down the road to Lennox head about 16 kms away, to the surf beach at 7 mile beach; what a difference so peaceful and quiet compared to Byron, much more to our liking we could easily live there. On one side of the road was the beach and the other side a beautiful lake with canoe's, and even people training on a dragon boat.
Readying myself for the travels ahead has been intense, and I'm still trying to get the reality of the situation to sink in. I've been we'll and truly ready to go for quite some time now. With the exception of packing my bags of course, which I refuse to do until I actually have to. I think in a way it's my way or delaying the inevitable.
