We dropped off Wicko to the Perth depot and then carted all out stuff by foot through the city before catching a train to our apartment in Fremantle. The group comes together
John flew in to Perth at lunchtime and we visited Kings Park again to show our parents the views of Perth and the lovely flowers in the park. We had dinner at Little Creatures Brewery back in Freo before heading to Fremantle Prison for a night tour. Plenty of corny ghost stories and cheap frights but good fun
Riding Rottnest
We all woke up early and caught the Rottnest Express to Rottnest Island. We hired bikes and rode the 24km circuit around the island checking out the 62 beaches and trying to spot Quokkas. We returned to Freo tired and with sore bums.
Freaking out in Fremantle
The day was spent packing and doing last minute jobs in preparation for overseas travel the next day. We all watched the NRL final while sampling some local Swan beer which was a nice family activity.
Raylene and Mich turned on a lovely roast dinner for our last Australian meal.
I don't think we're in Asia anymore
... I'm never taking this for granted again.
