    An exhausting day!

    ... was relieved (I’m sure). Dropped off our bags and returned our hire car and welcomed the walk back to the apartment. We encountered some colourful (for want of a better word) people en route but you come across these characters wherever you travel.

    Well after a 7 hour stint in the car we were somewhat exhausted so we went out and grabbed some goodies to have for dinner and a nice wine from Veneto to wash it all down. No doubt we shall sleep well ...

    ... that night, and instead decided to pull an "all nighter" until 1:30 working on a paper. When we got back from the ceremony, we had breakfast which woke me up. I worked on more homework, and was productive for most of the day. By that evening, I was up for 41 hours straight with nothing more than a 45 minute nap. I intended to sleep more, but never got the opportunity.

    A look at the top deck with the Swimming Pool where we had a drink at one of the bars; Ron and I went for a walk and visited another bar at the other end of the pool; took a traveller and met back at the former bar where the girls were originally located.     ... garden area not dissimilar to Kew Gardens with areas sporting a variety of flora and fauna from around the globe. We didn't make it in to the green houses but we did look from outside and admire the architecture. The glass houses have won numerous architecture awards since being completed.     ... overwhelmed. So was I - total dismay with Jill's house in it's usual state of clutter and dust, and the home open inspection was Saturday lunchtime. Somehow Jill kept getting stuck with bits and piece that she was finding and she couldn't delegate jobs to us so we sort of dithered for a bit, then pushed. After she finally fixed the Vax (which has been non-functional for at least five years) Jan vacuumed the cleared area in the study. ...
