... a lovely French family. It was amazing seeing all the houses that were literally 6 feet from the river, many with their own jetty and boat (all in various states of disrepair haha). We received many waves and smiles from the friendly Borneans hanging off rails and out of windows :) again, the camera was working overtime! We got off the boat and spent the next hour or so walking down the "main street" going in all the gorgeous little shops and buying some ...

night was Boo's birthday, so despite the bass, we obviously didn't have
much trouble sleeping that night after some (bushels of) beer and
splitting a half-tub of ice cream. Waking up the next day, however, was

village or across the river; quite a few young lads (not sure whether these cakes are used as gifts).

... so decided on a swim and Jacuzzi.
This evening we headed back into Old China Town; we had spotted somewhere to eat earlier. When we got there it was heaving; full of Australian students on some sort of tour. We found a
table and ordered. John had Seafood Nasi Goreng (all Nasi Goreng comes with
chicken wings and chicken satay) with a side order of curry vegetables. I had
    seen Seafood Umai on ...
