... in right next to the I70, a massive four lane interstate, but our hotel is the nicest boutique hotel we have stayed at. Our room has its own fireplace, overlooks a creek, has views of the mountains that tower around us and no idea that just 100m away trucks and cars are hurtling along. On Digger's last day we drove up through the high country north of Jefferson up over Georgia Pass (11,585ft on the Continental Divide) in his 'Lincoln Navigator' hire car - he had to change from his BMW 740 after the sunroof exploded!!!!. Test fired a few weapons......
Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....
