... head back home after the fireworks put Woody to bed and plan on having a nice glass of wine, and sending a few emails. Well, we both fall asleep and wake 15 minutes before New Years. We have a drink and a toast and watch the fireworks in Sydney. Despite the tiredness, we feel optimistic and positive about the year ahead, and mostly, lucky to be in the lucky country!

... saw our first snake on this walk, a smallish green one that was not at all interested in us. We then went to the jetty with a bottle of wine and watched the sunset. We were joined by a very exciting guest, just as dusk settled, a Dingo! This was great as Christian and I then went to a talk on the Dingo run by the resort.
