... they realized a cannonball was missing from the archway on the second floor. So they sent someone to find a new cannonball and now it's cemented into the side. The church has a nice clock tower which is also a great place to get a panoramic view of the city (we did not go up). Now they are set up to represent living conditions throughout the years of ...

... took a walk around the room and wow. It was insanely packed, noisy, hot and people were rowdily partying away with steins in hand. Every available table seat was taken by either a bum or by the person standing and dancing on one of the bench seats. We slowly strolled around trying to avoid getting hit in the head by one of the huge food trays being brought hastily through by waiters and waitresses. The would just push you out of the way if ...

"Though we travel the world over to find beauty, we must carry it with us or we find it not."

I cannot believe I have been in Germany for 12 days. To me, it feels like I’ve been here for months. ( In a good way, of course). Last week our staff (family for the summer as I like to see it) went venturing off base. I was jittery with excitement to finally explore! Friday night we all took bus
to downtown Bamberg. There is really no true way ...
