... good go at it. And we got birthday cakes which was lovely even if the tasted bad. As we sailed past the Greek mainland we passed an active volcano and could see in the approaching twilight the lava flow running down to sea. Bit of a thrill for the kids and adults alike. All in all a nice day relaxing on the boat and enjoying a nice ...

(And, yes, apparently filia either means snake generally or the viper specifically; for our purposes it didn't much matter.) As it turns out the last year has been fairly rainy and the vipers have been more common, found somewhat commonly along roads. And we had misunderstood ...

... norm. We left our heavy bags to climb stairs to the top of this behemoth. After 4 flights we got to the top. The view was gorgeous and the water was blue. Blue like a crayon. Blue like you have not seen blue water. Even in the port, it’s just all blue. It makes you want to dive right in. I would like to tell you all about the sights I saw on the ferry ride to Aegina, but I cannot. You see I’ve been hiking 12 miles every day, and roaming streets every night. ...
